The Senior Perspective is a monthly newspaper in west central Minnesota that covers more than 16 counties (see distribution page). The paper focuses on events, entertainment, education, health, investment and estate issues, future planning, feature stories and issues of aging. It also has fun stuff, including jokes, quizzes and games. The Senior Perspective was first published in the 1993 by Jeanne Olson. In 2002, the Senior Perspective was sold to Jim Palmer, who has published it since. In February 2009, the Senior Perspective expanded its circulation to more cities and divided its paper into two editions-- the north and south editions. Between both editions, the monthly readership is estimated at 120,000. The Senior Perspective is distributed in more than 110 communities in Minnesota (see map on Distribution page). The paper is free on the newsstand. There are also more than 450 subscribers who prefer to have the paper mailed directly to them. We are proud to say that the Senior Perspective remains one of the fastest growing and most read monthly newspapers in the state of Minnesota. |
