Instrumentation desired for this group are violins, violas, cellos, string basses, flutes, clarinets, oboes, bassoons, saxophones, trumpets, French horns, trombones, baritones, tuba and percussion. The group is directed by Michael Zellgert.
The “Varsity Strings” ensemble is for string students and adults who feel comfortable reading at a late beginning to early intermediate level—Suzuki Books 1-3. Instrumentation desired include violins, violas, cellos and string bass. This group is directed by Rhonda Johnson.
New this year are group lesson classes for ages 7-adult, called “Introduction to Strings”. Students will learn the basics for playing a string instrument. There will be two classes—one for violin/viola and the other for those who want to learn to play the cello. The instructor is Rhonda Johnson.
