Parkview offers ‘patient-centered’ dentistry

Are you looking for ways to brighten your smile? The goal of the staff at Parkview Dental, of Hutchinson, is to not only brighten your smile, but intently look forward to knowing you — as a person as well as a patient. They will be celebrating 25 years as a dental practice in 2016.

“We are a patient-centered practice who works hard to change the lives of our patients. Our staff and doctors are all about the patient,” said Dr. Kent Kuball.

Going to a dentist isn’t on everybody’s wish list and the staff at Parkview Dental understand this premise. The staff at Parkview Dental wants your visit to be a positive experience with a gentle approach to care. To make you feel comfortable they provide stereo headphones, nitrous oxide sedation and other options to help you feel as comfortable as possible.

Mark and Sandra Rickertsen, of Hutchinson, have been going to Dr. Kuball at Parkview Dental for almost 20 years with their entire family. “His staff is so friendly and competent that we have always received great service.  They are very accommodating and allow us to schedule all of our children’s appointments on the same night for great convenience! A specific concern we had was with Mark’s snoring.  Dr. Kuball initiated the advice of looking into a snore guard product. Dr. Kuball was so helpful and thorough with the adjustment process, and Mark ended up with a new model that fit his adjustment needs perfectly! The snore guard has solved Mark’s snoring concern that had been occurring for over 20 years!”

Richard “Dick” Marcellus, who had pretty difficult dental work to be done, said “We appreciate their office and are happy with the work they did for me. The whole office staff is marvelous and treated us very nice.”

The staff consists of  three doctors of dentistry, four dental hygienists, five dental assistants and four administrative assistants. The office is located at 10 Hassan Street North and they are open Monday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday once a month. Parkview Dental offers a full range of dental treatments, including preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Mini implants They can help you relieve lower denture discomfort. Dentures slip and make it difficult to speak and make many foods difficult to eat. When dentures become loose and cause painful sore spots and they can fix that with system implants. The procedure takes approximately one hour and provides a cushion for your gums while keeping your dentures firmly in place. Implants eliminate the need for adhesives and there will be no more bad odors. This procedure is very affordable.

Crown in single visit Another special service available at Parkview Dental is the single visit crowns (CEREC). It is the production of all-ceramic crowns that make this possible. Some of the benefits of this technology include: one visit, no impressions, no temporaries, metal free, highly aesthetic and long lasting.

Snore guards Snore guards are more prevalent in dentistry and are available at Parkview Dental. Snore guards are patient-friendly oral appliances. Do you or a family member have problems with snoring and/or sleep apnea? An FDA-approved snore guard may be the answer for you.

Migraine Headache Treatment Migraine Headache Treatment (NTI device) is the first dental device to be cleared by the FDA for the prevention of medically diagnosed migraine pain.
