I have always enjoyed nature, especially birdwatching. I love taking hikes through the woods with camera in hand looking for an opportunity to capture an image of a beautiful or unusual bird.

Through the years, various health issues have sidelined my hiking and photo-taking opportunities leaving me homebound while recovering from a major car accident, a serious bout with cancer, and a failed knee surgery, just to name a few.

Missing that outlet left me searching for ways to still enjoy my passion with my limited mobility, so I took to my kitchen window with camera in hand. What I found was a lot of beauty just on the other side of that pane of glass.

Thanks to my hubby for keeping the birdfeeders filled and for keeping the kitchen window clean.
