Kandiyohi County Historical Society Museum now open

The Kandiyohi County Historical Society Museum is now open as construction on its new multi-purpose room addition is nearly complete.  The floors in the depot and research room was recently completed. “They have been refinished and look beautiful,” said Jill Wohnoutka, direct of KCHS. Also completed is its newest display, Kandiyohi County and the U.S. Dakota War of 1862. “We welcome everyone to come and visit us,” said Wohnoutka. The museum is open Monday-Friday from 9 a..m.-5 p.m.
